Once they are simply past their age, they no longer feel “ashamed” of themselves for being exposed to their dismal appearance.
Clothing fashions are like the setting sun that falls and soon goes out of fashion, but we continue to wear the clothes we used to wear and cling to our past selves. Such a miserable spirit will only swell.
When that happens, it is just an outmoded person who cannot understand the beauty of a falling flower.
